Stuart Murphy

Stu makes his home in Edinburgh and has been performing comedy for over 30 years. He's not only a stand up comedian and an in demand compere but he also has his own regular improv show at The Stand Comedy Clubs.

A veteran of multiple Edinburgh fringe festivals, Stu has lent his voice to radio comedy, featured in YouTube web series and been a part of various sketch shows. He also performs with many different improv troupes including much loved Edinburgh institution Stu & Garry as well as The Improv All Stars and The Spontaneous Players, who regularly tour the UK with their Spontaneous Potter show.

Stu is also the cohost of the podcast Stu & Joe's Big Dumb Film Show.
